Choctaw and Nicoma Park

Poultry farming cooperative meets Oktoberfest.

Our story is Oklahoma’s story.

The neighboring towns of Choctaw and Nicoma Park have markedly different origins. Established after the 1889 Land Run into the Unassigned Lands, Choctaw was once part of the immense 7C Ranch. Nicoma Park, named by combining the name of developer G.A. Nichols and Oklahoma, was originally a poultry colony where you could purchase a house on credit and pay back your mortgage by raising chickens and selling high-grade eggs.
