Luther

Pioneering leaders and friends – Luther & Jones.

Our story is Oklahoma’s story.

In 1898, Luther Aldrich established and named the town of Jones for his friend Charles Jones. Jones, in turn, named his son Luther, for whom the town of Luther was named. When statehood rolled around, this small town 26 miles from Oklahoma City claimed to be one of the largest producers of cotton in the state. Today Luther provides a strong community atmosphere, and a quiet setting for those commuting to the Metro area for work.
